Jeff, how did you learn about 3D Cloud™, and what is your current role at the company?
I learned about 3D Cloud™ from the Dayton Business Journal article about our series B $10 million funding round.
What does your role consist of?
I co-manage the operations and delivery team for all home and office clients, along with several products that are critical to our clients.
What do you think is the most important skill that you bring to the table?
As a leader, mentor, and manager, the most important skill you have to bring to the job is the ability to receive and give feedback.
How do you motivate yourself at work? Do you have any secret tips?
I am motivated by challenging problems that I need to solve. Sometimes, you have to search out the problems, but with any product or organization, those problems exist and are fun to work on solving.
What are three words to describe 3D Cloud?
Engaging, energetic, and transparent
What is the best advice you could give to someone who just started a career at 3D Cloud?
Find the value to the team, and you can provide and maximize it.
What have you gained from working at 3D Cloud?
I have met and worked with many wonderful people and learned much about them and how teams work together to create great things.
Who are some of your biggest inspirations at 3D Cloud, and why?
Barry Besecker was one of the first people I met and interviewed with. His pitch for the company’s vision convinced me to come work here and has inspired me ever since. I also love working with Jon Jekeli; his skill in software development is outstanding and has made me better at it.
What is a dream that you want to make come true one day?
I am trying to visit as many National Parks as possible.
What is one food you can’t resist? Pizza? Ice Cream?
