Welcome to the latest post in our “Employee Q&A” series, where we interview an employee to reflect on their career and experience at 3D Cloud™. Part of our success is mainly due to our people. So, we’re excited to feature a hardworking team member to learn about their journey at 3D Cloud.

This week, we spotlight Stephanie Van Tieghem, Director of Marketing Projects at 3D Cloud™.  Let’s read on to learn more!

Stephanie, how did you learn about 3D Cloud™, and what is your current role at the company?

A former coworker’s brother-in-law worked for 3D Cloud. They reached out as they were looking for someone to fill an open marketing position.

What does your role consist of?

Managing all aspects of our marketing projects. They can be anything from planning our presence at trade shows to navigating our social strategy and digital advertisement spending. No two days are the same.

What do you love most about the work we do here?

We make really cool technology. Being on the marketing side, I only get to talk about how great our products are, but the team behind the technology is doing amazing things. I’m in awe of them every time I hear about a new product or feature.

What do you think makes our team culture unique?

Most of our employees work remotely. It’s hard to form real friendships when you only see each other through a screen, but I haven’t felt that way with our team. We make it a point to do team building or just a 30-minute happy hour every once in a while to disconnect from work and actually get to know one another.

How do you structure your day?

Assigned work blocks! I am a list person, so having time set for that task really helps me focus on my day.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?

I actually got to visit Sydney this past summer, and I can’t wait to go back and explore more of Australia. It’s such a beautiful country, and the weather was divine while I was there.

What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?

I want to learn how to become Taylor Swift’s best friend. I was born in Nashville in 1989 and am 6 months and seven days older than her. 6+7=13, her lucky number. I feel like we were meant to be besties.

Thank you, Stephanie, for your great responses. We appreciate your dedication to the team, our mission, and the important skills you bring.
