Welcome to the latest post in our “Employee Q&A” series, where we interview an employee to reflect on their career and experience at 3D Cloud™. Part of our success is mainly due to our people. So, we’re excited to feature a hardworking team member to learn about their journey at 3D Cloud.

This week, we spotlight Roberto Ruiz-Maki, Technical Project Manager at 3D Cloud™. Let’s read on to learn more!

Roberto, how did you learn about 3D Cloud™, and what is your current role at the company?

I found 3D Cloud™ the old-fashioned way – online! My role is to keep our platform happy, focused, and on track to meet client deadlines.

What does your role consist of?

I view my role as a communication-centered role. I ensure there’s information available to all of our client teams on what’s been released, how to find it, and working with them when a need isn’t aligning with a timeline.

What do you love most about the work we do here?

I love that a lot of people I come across have used our product and didn’t realize it was ours.

What do you think makes our team culture unique?

It’s truly a team atmosphere, even though it’s almost entirely remote. It’s hard to find that in my experience.

How do you structure your day?

I like to take 15 minutes with a cup of tea in the morning and plan out my day.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?

The Drake Passage and Antarctica. I’ve been to most of the places on my bucket, but this one would be special.

What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?

I’ve always wanted to try curling. It seems like my kind of sport!

Thank you, Roberto, for sharing insights about yourself and your journey at 3D Cloud™. We appreciate your dedication to the team, our mission, and the important skills you bring.
