This week, we spotlight Nick Shell, Senior Video Producer/Creative Director at 3D Cloud™. Let’s read on to learn more!
Nick, how did you learn about 3D Cloud™, and what is your current role at the company?
I was introduced to 3D Cloud by my good friend Chris Furgason. Currently, I am the Senior Video Producer/Creative Director.
What does your role consist of?
The first portion of my role is to create videos for all the different departments that may need them. As the Creative Director, I am responsible for ensuring that all the design work coming from the marketing department is aligned and on brand.
What do you think is the most important skill that you bring to the table?
I would say my most important skill is my ability to turn an idea into something tangible.
How do you motivate yourself at work? Do you have any secret tips?
Mostly, I enjoy what I do, and I feel blessed to be given the autonomy to do what I love from the comfort of my home! The most important part of being motivated to do my work is to have a space dedicated to it. This will ensure that there is a strong separation from work and home, allowing you to get into the right mindset.
What are three words to describe 3D Cloud?
Ingenuitive, Caring, and Trusting
What is the best advice you could give to someone who just started a career at 3D Cloud?
Buckle up and get ready to know 3D! Seriously though, I see that 3D Cloud respects and rewards quality as equally as quantity. Just do your best work.
What have you gained from working at 3D Cloud?
A wonderful work-life balance.
Who are some of your biggest inspirations at 3D Cloud, and why?
I would have to say the leadership, the passion they have for our product, and the trust they put in their employees to support it is quite inspiring.
What is a dream that you want to make come true one day?
I think I’d like to own a house close to a beach one day.
What is one food you can’t resist? Pizza? Ice Cream?
