3D Cloud, the leading provider of 3D content and Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality shopping solutions to furniture and DIY retailers, announced that their new engineering headquarters at Austin Landing is now in operation.
“This move signals a new phase in our growth,” said Barry Besecker, 3D Cloud’s CTO and Co-Founder. “We want to attract the best talent from both Dayton and Cincinnati. This new location makes it possible for talented engineers and others who are looking for an alternative to big corporate culture — and who want to live in either Cincinnati or Dayton areas to come and work with us.”
The new office space is 13,500 square feet with room for the company to expand. It features polished concrete floors, plenty of communal work spaces and is located amid popular restaurants and shops.
“We are an Ohio company to the core and love living and working here, but we wanted to create the feeling of working at a tech startup in Silicon Valley – an office that would be fun to come and work in and that would stimulate creativity and collaboration,” Besecker said. “Engineers shouldn’t have to move to California to find that – and now they don’t.”
“We are thrilled to add 3D Cloud to the Austin Landing community. Companies like 3D Cloud are the future of employment in the region and we know that they’ll love it here,” said Larry Dillin, president of VisCap Development LLC, the company that owns and leases Austin Landing.
